 At Chelle's Place, we understand that change is a journey of growth, healing, and rebirth. Just as a butterfly emerges from its cocoon stronger and full of life, so too can you. We are here to support you through every step of your transformation in a safe, nurturing, and inviting environment.

To provide a safe, nurturing environment that supports women in recovery, guiding them toward lasting sobriety, personal growth, and self-discovery.

Our Purpose

To empower each resident through structured support, accountability, and compassionate care, helping women rebuild their lives, embrace their potential, and step confidently into a future of hope and independence.
 

12-Month Butterfly Transformation Program

Our Phases

Phase 1 – The Egg

Structure & Stabilization
(Safety & Stability | Months 1-2)


Requirements


  • Attend 5 recovery meetings per week
     
  • Mandatory bi-weekly 1:1s with staff
     
  • Actively seeking employment
     
  • Actively seeking a sponsor (Sponsor REQUIRED to move to Phase 2)
     
  • Curfew and house rules strictly enforced



Personal Space Allowances


  • 14 hangers
     
  • 5 pairs of shoes
     
  • ONE i

Structure & Stabilization

Requirements


  • Attend 5 recovery meetings per week
     
  • Mandatory bi-weekly 1:1s with staff
     
  • Actively seeking employment
     
  • Actively seeking a sponsor (Sponsor REQUIRED to move to Phase 2)
     
  • Curfew and house rules strictly enforced



Personal Space Allowances


  • 14 hangers
     
  • 5 pairs of shoes
     
  • ONE item on dresser (Either 1 picture frame OR 1 small knickknack – not both)
     
  • Assigned clear drawer cubby (socks, underwear, personal items)
     
  • Assigned top-of-closet cubby bin (items fully inside; nothing visible)
     

Incentive to Move Up


  • Earn increased personal space, décor options, and independence

     

Phase 2 – The Cocoon

 Growth & Responsibility
(Months 2-6)


Requirements


  • Attend 5 recovery meetings per week
     
  • Mandatory bi-weekly 1:1s with staff
     
  • Actively working with a sponsor
     
  • Employment maintained
     
  • Continued rule compliance and accountability
     


Personal Space Allowances


  • 20 hangers
     
  • 9 pairs of shoes
     

 Growth & Responsibility
(Months 2-6)


Requirements


  • Attend 5 recovery meetings per week
     
  • Mandatory bi-weekly 1:1s with staff
     
  • Actively working with a sponsor
     
  • Employment maintained
     
  • Continued rule compliance and accountability

  • One approved picture frame allowed
     
  • Closet and storage must remain organized

CHELLE WALLER

 Chelle – Founder | Executive Director (The Beginning – The Vision)


Chelle is the visionary Founder and Executive Director of Chelle’s Place. With lived experience, compassion, and bold leadership, she created a safe, nurturing home for women in transition. Chelle leads with purpose, accountability, and heart, believing that healing is possible when structure, love, and community come together. Her mission is to guide women from survival to stability and into transformation.

JOSHUA WHITE

 King Joshua – President | COO (The Chrysalis – Structure & Development) 


King Joshua leads the operational 

vision of Chelle’s Place with authority, wisdom, and purpose. As President and COO, he is a protector of the mission, a builder of strong foundations, and a guide for the team. His leadership is rooted in discipline, structure, and forward thinking strategy, ensuring the house operates with order and sustainability. Through his leadership, Chelle’s Place is positioned to grow strong, stable, and impactful for generations to come.


MARQWELA THOMPSON

Marqwela – Intake | Program Coordinator (The Growth Stage – First Steps)


Marqwela serves as the first point of connection for women entering

Chelle’s Place, ensuring each resident is welcomed with dignity, clarity, and structure. With lived experience and a testimony rooted in restoration, she understands the weight of addiction and the power of grace. Through compassion, accountability, and spiritual conviction, she guides women toward healing and encourages transparency to break generational cycles. She

believes transformation begins with faith, structure, and community.


Gloria | Operations | Corporate Administrator

Gloria leads Operations and Corporate Administration at Chelle's Place, providing the organizational backbone that supports operational excellence. With a strong commitment to structure, compliance, and communication, she ensures systems are aligned with the mission and goals of the organization. Her leadership is rooted in integrity, consistency, and a heart guided by faith and love, cultivating new beginnings where women can grow, transform, and fly, helping create an environment where both staff and residents can truly thrive.
